Andrew Evans is a financial advisor with MassMutual Greater Washington and has been with the firm since 2012. Andrew is originally from New York and Connecticut. He went to an all-boys boarding school in Connecticut called Salisbury School where he wrestled and played football and lacrosse. While there, he won two New England Championships in lacrosse and was recruited to play at Roanoke College in VA. At Roanoke he played for two years, making it to the NCAA Semifinals in his Freshman year. Andrew concentrated the rest of his time at Roanoke on his academics and Greek life, joining the Business Department in Finance and joining Sigma Chi's Tau Chapter.
After graduating from Roanoke in 2010, he quickly started his career in Washington D.C. with Wachovia and transitioned with them to Wells Fargo in 2011. While there, Andrew led the market in performance goals. He was accepted into their licensing program and began to work more closely with financial advisors on both investment and insurance products as a Brokerage Associate. From Wells Fargo, he moved to Northwestern Mutual in Washington D.C. prior to joining MassMutual Greater Washington in 2012.
Since at MassMutual Andrew has focused his work with clients on overall financial planning and advisory services. He brings his experience in multiple areas to the table to help his clients create sound financial plans and implement those plans effectively and efficiently. He is a MassMutual Rising Leader as well as a MassMutual Leaders Conference Qualifier. He works closely with his Senior Partner Scott VanPelt, in addition to maintaining and building his own client base.
Andrew currently lives in Fairfax VA and in his free time still enjoys playing lacrosse competitively as well as hiking, traveling, and staying involved in Fraternal Organizations.
