Professional Story
Financial planning is a relationship built on trust and integrity and involves a close, ongoing relationship between advisor and client. As an independent financial planner, I work in close consultation with individuals, businesses and families to help them develop a comprehensive, long-term financial plan that assists them in achieving their goals and objectives.
My planning utilizes a consultative planning process that focuses on all areas of financial planning including investment allocation and wealth management, succession/retirement income planning, tax planning and estate planning, and risk management strategies. My process for business planning constructs a strategy that aligns these planning areas for the business itself as well as the owner’s personal financial plan. Committed to finding customized solutions for each client’s unique situation, I design plans that highlight the interrelated nature of a client’s financial life.
I strive to reduce the complexity of financial planning issues so clients fully understand all of their options. I provide strategic planning for business owners that is developed as an integrated solution to assist them in reaching intended long term results. With an extensive background working with Fortune 500 company executives, I offer valued assistance with the coordination of executive benefit and corporate retirement plans including stock options, incentive grants, deferred compensation, and thrift and 401(k) savings plans.
Additionally, I am certified to provide financial services to clients involved in the process of divorce. I prepare valuable customized illustrations and projections that assist all parties in understanding the financial implications of various settlement options. This service allows my client’s attorney to focus on the legal issues of the case and feel confident the appropriate financial information is gathered and reviewed. My goal is for the divorcing parties to fully comprehend the proposed settlement and, where possible, to make decisions that result in a mutually agreeable resolution.
