Chris Shuman is a financial planner with Charter Oak Financial, whose proud history dates back to 1886. Chris’s relationships with clients—both new and old—are the foundation of his practice. His decades of experience as a registered investment advisor and a Certfified Financial Planner (CFP) allow him to offer a big-picture view of their current financial position, insurance planning, investment planning, tax management and estate planning options to establish personalized strategies that meet shortand long-term goals.

In the community, Chris is passionately involved with youth hockey player development. As a level 4 Certified USA hockey coach, he has been a coach with and director of the Gary Dineen hockey program (now called MassConn United) since 1995, and is the director of the GDHS 40-Hour Hockey School and coach with the Springfield Jr. Thunderbirds.
