Daniel Ryder is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Practitioner with over 35 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry. After graduating from Cleveland State University, Cum Laude with a degree in Finance, Dan began his career with KeyBank and McDonald Investments in Cleveland, OH. Among other duties, Dan was responsible for the retail bank retirement education program as well as trust account investment performance.

Dan joined Skylight Financial Group in 2005. Since then, he has been offering his clients comprehensive financial planning services with an emphasis in retirement income planning, college and estate planning and tax reduction strategies. In the investment arena, Dan assists his clients in addressing problems and risks associated with market fluctuations and varying economic conditions, as well as tax strategies, while stressing the concepts of portfolio diversification, rebalancing, and systematic portfolio review.

Dan resides in Strongsville with his wife Laura. They have four children and are active in their community. Dan has coached soccer, functioned as treasurer of their homeowner’s association, president of their swim team, Committee Chair for Cub Scouts, and is currently on the Finance Committee of their church. Both Dan and Laura are avid runners and enjoy skiing and hiking.
