As a Baystate Financial Representative, David McDonald’s mission is to assist individuals, families and business owners in defining their financial goals and achieving financial freedom. He is trained and licensed to provide financial solutions to his clients and prospects. His goal is to become a lifelong resource to his clients, and he is dedicated to assisting them through the various stages of their financial lives. At Baystate Financial, David is able to utilize the team approach and draw upon wealth of knowledge of his associates to create custom designed financial strategies for his clients.

David holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from the United State Naval Academy and a master's degree in financial management from the Naval Postgraduate School. In addition, he received a certificate in financial planning from Bryant University.

David is a retired naval officer. During his military career he served on cruisers, destroyers and aircraft carriers. Additionally, he assisted military leaders in retirement and compensation matters for military personnel.

David is an active member of the community serving as Rhode Island Federation President and chapter President for the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.   He has also volunteered for Special Olympics to honor the memory of his late sister Jessica, a Special Olympics Hall of Fame member.
