Deanna Filosa has been providing her clients with comprehensive financial planning services for more than 30 years, focusing on the disability and life insurance, investment allocation, college funding, retirement planning and retirement distribution planning needs for physicians, business owners and professionals.
A proud graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in engineering, Deanna continued her education by earning the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (CFC®) and Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC®) designations from the American College.
Every year, Deanna serves as a keynote speaker at the Stony Brook School of Medicine and New York Tech College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Exit Interview event, lecturing alongside the American Association of Medical Colleges about student loan management, budgeting, disability insurance and comprehensive financial planning.
Throughout her career, Deanna has dedicated much of her time and support to numerous charitable and community organizations. She is involved with Cost of Freedom, Inc., an organization dedicated to honoring and assisting servicemen and servicewomen returning from combat. In partnership with the VA Medical Center in Northport, Deanna co-founded the Kindred Spirit Program, a program to assist veterans in their transition to back to civilian life.
Deanna and her husband reside in Huntington, NY with their three children.
