PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

DJ O’Connell is a financial services professional with Charter Oak Financial, whose proud history dates back to 1886. DJ focuses his practice on business planning and succession planning, retirement strategies and income protection.

Prior to joining Charter Oak, DJ was an advisor with New York Life.

Outside of work, DJ uses his experiences as an All-American and a three-time NCAA and NJCAA lacrosse champion to give back to the community. He is volunteer coach, both for Colonie varsity lacrosse and the local Challenger program, which gives children with special needs the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports throughout the year.

DJ enjoys spending his free time hanging out with his dog, Brody, spending time with family and friends and golfing whenever he can.
