    Douglas A. Vogel is a Financial Services Executive with Lee, Nolan & Koroghlian, a MassMutual firm and a Registered Representative with MML Investors Services, LLC with 34 years of experience.  He is a SpecialCare Planner, with MassMutual’s SpecialCare Program, a national network of planners dedicated to helping families plan for their children or other dependents with special needs, with offices in South Florida and the Low Country of South Carolina. He was the co-founder of SNAP, Special Needs Advocate for Parents, a national non-profit public benefit corporation dedicated to improving the quality of life for children of all ages who have special needs and their parents or caregivers, by serving as a resource that empowers them through information, education advocacy and referrals. SNAP was acquired by United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) on July 9, 2008.  Doug has authored numerous articles on advocacy and special needs estate planning and is nationally recognized as one of the leading professionals on estate planning for families with children or other dependents with special needs. He has been featured in many publications such as the New York Times, Bloomberg Wealth Manager, Forbes, The Special Parent, Reuters and CNN Money. 

    Doug is a member of the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD); The Palm Beach County Special Needs Advisory Coalition (SNAC); Florida’s Voice on Developmental Disabilities (FVDD); and Autism New Jersey. He is also the Chair of the Exhibiting Committee for the Boating & Beach Bash for People with Disabilities; an associate member of the Area 9 Family Care Council Florida-Palm Beach County and a member of the Board of Directors of the Kids Needs Foundation.

    He received a BA in Political Science from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, in Charleston, SC.  Doug resides both in Folly Beach, South Carolina and Highland Beach, Florida with his wife and daughter who has special needs.
