Edward J. Vespa joined Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company in 1973. Mr. Vespa received his Bachelor of the Arts degree in 1973 from LeMoyne College. His professional accreditations from the American College include Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC), and Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC),Retirement Income Certficiation Professional (RICP).
Mr. Vespa is an active member of several professional organizations including The Society of Financial Service Professionals, The National Association of Life & Insurance Advisors and The New York Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors. Mr. Vespa is also a Life & Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table.
Mr. Vespa is also actively involved in several community organizations as well as a former member of the Board of Directors of the American Leukemia Society and St. Ann’s School.
Mr. Vespa resides in Syracuse with his wife of 47 years, Marilyn. They have two children. Robert, 45, is Director of Global Equities at Citibank, and Jonathan, 38, is a Ph.D. working in Washington, DC, at The Bureau of Census of the U.S. Mr. Vespa enjoys his 4 grandsons, historical and biographical readings, travel, gardening and playing chess.
