Eric graduated with a B.S. degree in Finance and Criminal Justice from Northeastern University. Eric and his daughter Taylor reside in Windermere, Florida. Eric and Taylor are actively involved in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, as Taylor has been a Type 1 diabetic since 2007.

Eric is a regular guest speaker and presenter at various teaching hospitals throughout the, as well as United States as well as a featured speaker to professional sports organizations, and is the President of the Rotary Club of Winter Garden.
