The book’s lessons are so ingrained in the firm’s culture that in 2015, North Coast Financial Group changed its name to Blue Ocean Wealth Solutions.
Throughout his career, Frank has earned the respect and admiration from his clients, team, and industry insiders. In February 2016, he was inducted into MetLife’s Management Hall of Fame. Later that year, MassMutual acquired the MetLife Premier Client Group, which included Blue Ocean Wealth Solutions. The firm has since earned the prestigious Silver Chairman’s Trophy from MassMutual for 2 years in a row. The family-oriented culture he cultivates has also earned his firm a spot on Newsday’s Top Workplaces on Long Island list. More importantly than external recognition, however, Frank takes pride in knowing that the team has fun together, has forged strong bonds, and made lasting memories.
Frank has taken his message and passion for helping others to an industry-wide level by sharing his time and talents with GAMA International, a not-for-profit organization promoting professional development and leadership in the insurance, investment, and financial services industries. Frank presently serves as GAMA’s President, and he oversaw the coordination of its successful 2018 and 2019 LAMP conferences.
In his free time, Frank enjoys reading self-improvement books, golf, and supporting charitable efforts. The cause nearest and dearest to Frank’s heart is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, an organization he has supported since his son John survived childhood Leukemia. To help other families, Frank has spearheaded corporate fundraising for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk, recently raising $25,000 for the organization in 2018.
