George Kinigopoulos is the Managing Partner of MassMutual Greater Washington, a general agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual).

George is a seasoned professional with over 25 years in the financial services industry. Prior to joining MassMutual Greater Washington in May 2012, he spent 20 years in management having formerly been with MetLife and Mutual of New York (MONY).

George has won the GAMA Platinum Award several times throughout his career and is a member of GAMA International, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), and Baltimore Life Underwriters Association. He holds his FINRA Series 7, Series 24, and Series 63 registrations and Life, Health, and Variable Insurance Licenses.

George is known for building productive career agencies and has a strong focus on developing strategic partnerships with CPA firms to help their clients grow and retain business.

He is a graduate of the University of Maryland and lives in Ellicott City with his wife of over 30 years, Janice, and his loyal dogs, Cassius and Ozzie. George enjoys golfing and traveling to Nashville on the weekends to visit his son Stephen, daughter Alexa, and son-in-law Brian. 

George supports several causes in their fundraising efforts including The Zukowski Family Foundation, Avon Foundation, Children’s National Medical Center, Manna Food Center, Stepping Stones Shelter and Heroes Inc.
