As an Investment Advisor Representative of MML Investors Services, LLC, holding the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation, Hershel Meriwether has 32 years of experience in financial services. His professional practice is devoted to advising professionals, business owners and other individuals and families on their financial planning. He helps clients implement appropriate and cost-effective investment and insurance programs designed to help achieve their unique goals and objectives and to help provide financial security. He provides a broad portfolio of long-term asset growth strategies, risk management programs and financial products and services.

A native Texan, Hershel received his BA degree from Texas Tech University and Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to starting his professional practice, Hershel served on the executive staff of the Governor’s Budget Office and the Public Utility Commission of Texas, where he advised public officials on various budget and fiscal policy matters.

Hershel and his wife, Tina, have two daughters, Morgan and Anne. They have lived in Austin for over 40 years and have been active in community and professional organizations.
