Hyun Joo has been working in the financial services industry since 2005. Prior to the financial services industry, she worked in the continuing education space with UC Berkeley Extension and ventured into the start-up world working in Human Resources and Accounting.

Her team's goal is to create better financial outcomes for their clients. They clarify what’s truly important to them and collaborate with them to work towards that vision. Her team's goal is to be a valuable resource for their clients. Clarity, simplicity and implementation are the key to creating better financial outcomes. 

As the Senior Vice President of the Walnut Creek office, Hyun Joo attracts financial professionals with diverse perspectives. She understands that interconnectedness with the community is what will keep the organization relevant in a world of rapid change and disruption. She uses an “Integrative Approach” to helping her financial professionals leverage all the resources available to them. She understands that top talent comes from all walks of life. The financial services career allows for success to anyone who has the right mindset and the desire to achieve it.

Hyun Joo graduated with honors from UC Berkeley. She resides in the Montclair district in Oakland. She is an avid sports fan, loves volunteering and spending time with her friends and family. She is a board member of the Financial Planning Association-East Bay, Associate Board of the Korean American Community Foundation-San Francisco and Advisor Board for the East Bay Community Foundation. She loves traveling the world and learning about different cultures. She was in the Rock n’ Roll Marathon Hall of Fame in 2014 and is currently pursuing her first full IRONMAN race.
