Background:
Ivan enlisted in the United States Marine Corps upon completion of high school in 1981 and continued his education while on active duty. He was honorably discharged in 1985. He made a decision to move into the financial services and began as an investment banker specializing in startup companies and getting them to the public market. After several years and some personal family loss he made the change and incorporated business and personal insurance planning, estate planning concepts and investment advisory services. He earned designations as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU, as a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)and in 2012 earned the Certified Family Business Specialist (CFBS) from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Where he is currently working towards his Masters of Financial Services. Ivan also earned the following designations: Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF), and Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC).

Experience:
In 1995, Ivan accepted a position at Levin Financial Group, a General Agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual). He worked with experienced agents learning fundamentals of insurance and investments. Ivan handled a wide variety of financial products including life insurance, disability income insurance, Mutual funds, annuities, IRA’s and Qualified Retirement Plans. In the corporate markets Ivan helps employers implement and service existing group benefits, recommend’s changes when appropriate and help’s communicate the benefits to employees on a regular basis.

He handles all aspects of tracking for enrollments and terminations for employers as needed.

Professional Affiliations:
Ivan has been involved with the Central Florida Estate Planning Council, the American Society of Financial Services Professionals, and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

Ivan is also active in the local and currently serves on the Maitland City Council, is a Member of the Maitland Mens Club, a civic group that works to provide for the less fortunate in and around Maitland.
