Professional Story

James started his career in finance in 1996 at Morgan Stanley as a financial advisor. He then moved on to continue his career at Mass Mutual working on the trade desk before leaving for MetLife in 2000. At MetLife, James managed the trade desk and worked as the director of recruiting for over 12 years before transitioning into the role of a financial advisor, specializing in the 403B marketplace. James has now been with Baystate Financial since 2014, and with our team in Worcester since 2017.

James holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Western New England University. He holds his Life, Accident and Health License, and Series 6, 7, 63, & 65 Securities Licenses.

James works out of our Holyoke, MA office, and currently resides in Longmeadow, MA with his wife, Gillian, son, Drew, and daughter, Reilly. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing golf & hockey, and coaching and attending his children's sporting events and activities.
