After graduating from Southeastern Oklahoma State, Jay jumped right into service-based work where he has cultivated lasting relationships and discovered his life's passion for helping people. He started his financial planning practice in 2014, joined Bluecrest Financial Alliances in 2018 and Bluecrest Financial North Texas in 2023. Jay’s mission is helping families and business owners determine how much they should be saving, where they should be saving, and consider strategies to help protect what they built, and plan for their retirement income and legacy goals.

Jay is a 2019-2020 graduate of Leadership Denton and volunteers as an Ambassador with the Denton Chamber of Commerce. He's also been a faithful volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters Denton County since 2009, has served as the Chair of the Board of Directors since 2019 and was awarded the Community Service Award from MassMutual in 2023 for his work with the organization.

Jay is a member of Singing Oaks Church of Christ in Denton. He enjoys spending time with his 2 daughters and dogs, following sports, and doing anything outdoors.
