Starting a financial plan and keeping it on track can be daunting. I believe it starts with education. That’s why I take time to get to know my clients, their goals and dreams. From there we can tap into my experience, professional-ism, and access to a wide variety of products and services that can help you meet your financial goals and insurance needs. I will walk through each step to make sure you understand any pros and cons of different plans before you decide on anything you would like to implement. I have over 10 years of experience in this industry and an amazing team of specialists that I work with for your benefit.
I didn’t start as a financial advisor. In 2002 I was an apprentice in a local Chicago labor union just a few months away from earning my journeyman card. Stacey and I were married on May 23rd on a beach on Maui, Hawaii at Sunset. It was an amazing year so far. Life had a different plan. Four weeks later, on June 20th, she passed away from injuries after a Motorcycle accident. As a 25-year-old I didn’t understand any of the insurance or financial situations that I was suddenly thrust into. Over the next couple years, I started to study different aspects of insurance and the financial world. I fi-nally decided that I wanted to help educate people and assist them in their decision-making process for their financial future. Due to losing Stacey’s income, I went from being debt free to taking nearly four years to financial-ly recover. I don’t ever want anyone to have to experience what I went though. Trying to put their financial life back in order while at the same time trying to grieve. So, I became a financial advisor to help ensure that life doesn’t catch my clients off guard.
On the weekends I play keyboards in a band. I have a pilot’s license, but I haven’t flown in a while. My favorite way to spend my personal time is with my daughter. As a single father, I am very involved with her life and you can usually find me volunteering in one of her musicals at school.
I am a member of NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) since 2019.
