    Born into a family of educators, Lance Layson always knew he wanted to be of serviceto others. Though he would not become a schoolteacher, as a financial advisor hefound a different way to serve.

    Today, Lance guides his clients to help reach their goals via a carefully orchestratedand coordinated process that translates their larger vision into a series of smaller,more manageable steps and builds in measures for accountability.

    “The worst part about working with me,” laughs Lance, “is that you will hear fromyour financial advisor on a regular basis.” Lance takes his clients’ goals seriously,frequently playing the role of coach, providing leadership, encouragement and therequired persistence to help people move forward in their lives. What gives him thegreatest satisfaction is to know he has made a difference in helping people addresstheir financial challenges. “Hearing a simple ‘thank you’ is priceless,” he says.

    Growing up, Lance truly shined in athletics, playing both baseball and football in school and in college. In sports hedeveloped the discipline that would one day allow him to build a thriving business of his own. After graduating college in 2004 with a degree in Business Administration, Lance entered the financial services industry, where he quickly found success.

    Lance’s financial services practice, originally centered on the needs of state employees, grew to offer comprehensivefinancial services, including insurance and investments to individuals, families, and businesses. Lance particularlyenjoys working with business owners, and other professionals who appreciate his focus, drive and attention to detail.

    When asked what fuels his passion for his work, Lance is quick to reply that it is “a need to be extraordinary;” thesame ambition that drove him to be a stellar athlete now feeds his desire to constantly improve himself and the lives ofhis clients. He prides himself on the level of service he provides, and relentlessly seeks to improve his delivery yearafter year.

    Outside of his practice, Lance is passionate about his family with whom he lovesto do just about everything – from coaching his kids in sports, to takingimpromptu road trips.

    Lance and his wife Becky reside in the metro Atlanta area with theirthree children.
