Jamie McGrory is an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience.  Prior to joining John Hancock as it's Regional Director of Estate and Business Planning in 1996, Jamie had a private Law Practice after graduating from New York Law School in 1984 and admitted to the New York State Bar.

Jamie has held a number of leadership positions after joining John Hancock, from Regional Director of Estate and Business Planning, to heading up three successful agencies in Maryland, St. Louis and Long Island. Jamie was also the Vice President of Agency Development out of Boston for John Hancock.

Jamie joined Fortis Lux as a Managing Director to assist in building the Long Island Office to complement the New York City main office and the Westchester Office in support of our advisors and their clients.

Jamie holds a B.A. from SUNY Cortland and a J.D.* from New York Law School. 

Jamie has been a board member of the SUNY Cortland Alumni Association since 2016 and lives in Dix Hills with his wife Cindy.
