Laurinda Ferreira began her career as a Financial Advisor in 1983 and went on to build Five Star Financial Group.  Her outstanding work with clients has earned her the loyalty, admiration and respect of clients and industry experts.  She is one of the few women who was inducted into MetLife's Hall of Fame which she achieved in 2016.  In addition, she is a lifetime member (1984-2020) of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), The Premier Association of Financial Professionals.  MDRT membership is recognized internationally as the standard of sales excellence in the life insurance and financial services business.

In 2009 she added her two daugthers Michell Mendez and Claudia Ferreira, both graduates of St. John's University to her team.  Together they have achieved even greater success.  They understand that only by being genuine and always doing the right thing for people will ultimate success be possible.  They consistently strive to be the best in their field by taking advanced courses and obtaining designations.
