Randy currently, trains and develops agents to serve the rapidly growing Chinese market in New York. He brings his sales and marketing experience, passion for the industry, energy and leadership to his role. In 2015, Randy Chow was a MassMutual Sales Manager of the Year, and continues to flourish as a top sales manager in the MassMutual and Charter Oak family.
The Story
If you told former restaurateur Randy Chow that he would eventually leave the food and beverage business to pursue an insurance career, he probably would have laughed. And yet, that’s exactly what he did. An immigrant from Taiwan, Randy’s first 20 years in the U.S. were spent investing in and operating more than 18 restaurants, and as a franchisee of several top international food and beverage brands. Always forward-thinking, Randy was also among the first people to popularize the Szechuan and Hunan styles of Chinese cuisine in the New England and Albany, New York regions. Despite his successful portfolio of restaurant ventures, Randy felt ready for a new challenge. His early years in the financial services industry were marked by many successes at both the advisor and manager level, but it is his deep and extensive knowledge of the changing needs and challenges of the metro New York Chinese community that have earned him recognition and respect.
