He began working in the financial services industry in 1997 and obtained the prestigious Certified Financial Planner designation in 2003. Matt specializes in customized planning for medical
and dental professionals, high net worth individuals and organizations. His collaborative practice primarily focuses on delivering exceptional service, superior comprehensive planning, and wealth management strategies.
He consistently earns the exclusive honor of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company’s Top of the Council (2007-2016), which recognizes its top 1% of financial professionals in the country. Matt is also the distinguished recipient of the ELIF (Exceptional Level of Insurance in Force) Award in 2013, recognizing excellence in Life Insurance. He enjoys mentoring other financial professionals, hosting study groups, and
speaking at seminars.
Matt, a native of Nashville, graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. Matt was a proud member of the University of Tennessee Soccer Team which qualified for the National Championships
2 of the 4 years he played. He treasures the memories, friendships, competition, discipline, and successes of his soccer playing years.
Matt and his wife, Karen, a native of Savannah and a Georgia Bulldog, live in Nashville, Tennessee. She graduated Cum Laude with an MBA from the University of Georgia and currently serves as our Director of Marketing. Together, they are raising their three
children. Matt’s interests include spending time with his family, coaching youth sports, golfing, watching SEC football, and traveling. He and Karen proudly support many philanthropic, religious, and academic organizations, including Second Harvest Food Bank, the Nashville Humane Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee, the Martha O’Bryan Center, the Interfaith Dental Clinic, Men of Valor, Julia Green Elementary, and the Universities of Georgia and Tennessee.
