Michael J. Hartsough works with individuals and small businesses to help protect their most important assets, accumulate wealth, and make sound financial decisions for their futures. He also enjoys working closely with households nearing retirement, helping them solve their retirement income needs. He works to effectively address all of his clients’ goals and concerns and ensures that the strategy evolves in concert with the clients’ needs.
Michael earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from St. Joseph’s University in 2014. He was a member of the SJU golf team and was Team Captain in 2014. He joined MassMutual Greater Philadelphia directly after college, choosing the financial services industry because of its entrepreneurial freedom and the opportunity to make a difference in peoples’ lives. In 2016, Michael became a Managing Associate, helping mentor and coach new advisors joining the financial services industry. To better serve his clients, Michael obtained the Certified Family Business Specialist (CFBS) designation, broadening his knowledge and insight into the inner workings and challenging dynamics of family-owned businesses and closely held corporations.
Michael has been recognized with a variety of awards from both his local agency and MassMutual. He was recognized as a MassMutual Rising Leader (2014-2019) and Leaders Club qualifier (2014-2023). He was selected to speak on NAIFA’s “Rising Stars” panel in 2017. He received the “NAIFA Quality Award – Life Insurance & Annuities” in 2018.
Michael was born and raised in Delaware County and graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School. He is a passionate Philadelphia sports fan and enjoys playing golf.
