Michael S. Kipniss, CLU, ChFC, CASL, has spent more than 30 years helping his clients achieve their financial goals.
A New York City native, Mike grew up in Greenwich, CT, and received a B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. In 1983 he began his financial services career in New York City, achieving his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1986, and his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation in 1987. Most recently, in 2006 Mike achieved his Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL) designation. He is a Life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table, one of the highest achievements of the financial services industry.
Mike relocated to Alpharetta, GA in 2002. He joined The Piedmont Group of Atlanta, a general agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) in Atlanta, and was appointed Assistant General Agent in August 2011.
Currently, Mike serves on the Board of Camp Kudzu, a 13-year old nonprofit organization serving children in the state of Georgia with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes. He was a winner of the Community Service Award and Community Impact Award for his volunteer and fund-raising efforts. In addition, in 2012 Mike was awarded the MassMutual Community Service award for his work on behalf of Camp Kudzu.
At home, Mike enjoys spending time with his family – wife Pam and children Stephanie, Dawson, Hannah and Heather, along with enjoying golf and ice hockey.
