Professional Story

Michael Ritz is an Associate who joined the Lenox team in 2020. He is responsible for working with both the firm’s corporate and high net worth individual clients. Whether your goals include preparing for milestone life events like retirement or college, protecting your family's future or you’re simply looking for life, disability income or long-term care insurance protection, Michael provides a new level of attention, insight, and capability.
Prior to joining Lenox, Michael was a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual, after a career in the sports industry that included athlete representation, senior agency management, publishing, broadcasting, league and team administration, and sponsorship sales and marketing. Most recently he was managing a consulting company that he founded to serve events and properties in both sports and entertainment.

A native of Long Island, Michael attended Boston University where he studied Public Relations and Marketing. He lives in New York City with his wife and three children. He is a long-distance runner, triathlete, and coach, and plays softball and soccer regularly. A lifelong Pittsburgh Pirates fan, Michael is also a great resource for sports trivia. As an EMT, he was a 9/11 first responder and survivor, and understands how suddenly life can change.
