Michelle E. Day is a Financial Advisor with Herzog Kistner Shaw Financial Partners. In her role, Michelle works with clients to review their financial plan to identify needs and concerns and offers effective solutions to help them create, sustain, and accumulate wealth. She offers individual financial planning, retirement planning, college funding strategies and life and disability insurance protection.
Michelle is a graduate of Purdue University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting while also playing on the Purdue Women’s Golf Team. With over 30 years of industry experience, a large portion of Michelle’s career has focused on individual and corporate 401(k) and 403(b) plans, helping individuals plan for retirement.
With a caring nature and love for numbers, Michelle enjoys helping clients plan for their future and assisting them with creating a plan to reach their goals. Throughout the duration of her career, Michelle has built strong client relationships and as a result has served as the Financial Advisor for generations of friends and family within her client network.
Michelle has three children – Nicole (26), Kailey (24) and Michael (22). Over the years, you could easily spot Michelle on the sidelines of countless soccer, basketball, and football games, as well as dance competitions cheering on her children. With her children grown, Michelle continues to spend her free time playing both casual and competitive golf – which she’s done since she was a young girl in Pittsburgh, PA. She also enjoys Skiing, Biking, Reading and recently started to play Pickleball.
Since 2007, Michelle has been a committee member of the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer annual walk and has served as the “Pink Mulligans” team captain in memory of her mother. As an advocate for Breast Cancer, she has also coordinated an annual golf tournament fund raiser.
