Professional Story

Hi, I'm Nima Ighani - a financial representative, lifelong Keller resident, and University of North Texas Alumni. My family moved to Keller in December of 1999, when I was seven, and this community has been my home ever since. I went through Keller Middle and Keller High School, then continued my academic journey at Texas Tech University. I transferred to the University of North Texas where I graduated with a BBA in Finance in 2022.

After graduation, I went to work full-time for Globe Life, which is where I got my start in the insurance world. I've now held my life and health insurance license for three years, and along the way I also spent three years in a business development role at Ighani EyeCare - an experience that taught me a lot about how small businesses operate and the needs of business owners. Today, I work with clients at Spectrum Financial Group, and my favorite part of the job is helping young families get their financial lives in order and plan for the long term.

My philosophy is simple: wealth is built slowly and predictably, not by trying to time the market or get rich quickly using high risk investments. I hold myself to a strict fiduciary standard, meaning my clients' best interests always come ahead of any commission or product sale, and I'm fully transparent about how I get paid. I also believe a real plan has to cover the whole picture - taxes, estate planning, cash flow, and insurance - not just a standalone investment portfolio. Surprisingly, our firms value often comes during economic downturns, when we keep clients from making panic-driven decisions. I listen closely to what my clients actually want, keep expectations realistic, and never stop studying, because this industry changes too fast to coast on past credentials.

When I'm not working with clients, you'll probably find me at a local Bitcoin meetup, a cryptocurrency conference, an AI Meetup, or a hackathon - I'm genuinely passionate about FinTech and blockchain technology and where technology is taking money. On Saturdays, when we're not too busy, my girlfriend and I volunteer at the local animal shelter. I've always had a place in my heart for animals, and my 15-year-old Maltese-Poodle, Snowball, gentle, sweet, and still going strong - is a big reason why.
