With almost 20 years in financial services industry, Omar Khan has had a highly successful career as a financial professional and a leader working with top financial services institutions like MetLife, Northwestern Mutual, and MassMutual Greater Houston. Omar spent 13 years of his career at MetLife, managing all aspects of client financial well-being, building client relationships, and managing team of financial professionals while maintaining MetLife’s top advisor status, consistently qualifying for President Conferences and Chairman’s Council.
In 2017, Omar joined Northwestern Mutual to help manage a team of South Asian associates, with the goal of growing the South Asian market in the Greater Houston area and to continue to maintain high level of personal production. While at Northwestern Mutual, Omar was a top producer for the Houston Network Office qualifying for the prestigious Northwestern Mutual Forum Conference, not once but twice in a short span of time. His practice included helping families and business owners with their financial needs from asset protection to wealth accumulation and preservation.
With his continued success over the years and to grow his practice to the next level, Omar recently transitioned over to MassMutual Greater Houston in September of 2021. At MassMutual Greater Houston, his focus is to maintain his top advisor status which he has enjoyed for several years and at the same time, continue growing his South Asian team of financial professionals by consistently seeking great talent within the community.
Omar’s expertise is in wealth preservation, asset protection, retirement planning and education funding strategies. He has proven to be a highly accomplished leader with a client-focused approach to advising, an extensive understanding of current economic trends and climate, and is well-versed in all aspects of qualified and non-qualified plans. He is also known for developing and motivating successful sales and service professionals through on-site coaching and implementing effective learning plans. Omar’s educational background is in Business Administration with a focus in Finance and International Management.
Omar is married to Maha and they have two children Zayd and Hala’.
