Rong thoroughly reviews every detail of her clients' financial lives, identifies challenges and opportunities, and works with them to prepare for anything that may affect their future financial security.

They also feel secure knowing that as their lives change, Rong will be there to help guide them for a long time to come.

Born in China, Rong came to the U.S. to further her education. She had a background in engineering, and soon earned advanced degrees in Computer Science and Finance. Rong began her financial services career with Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) in 2006. Rong chose MassMutual because the company's long history- over 180 years - of financial stability fit well with her own high standards for top service. She values the expertise and support she receives from MassMutual's Estate and Business Planning team and the benefits that the team can provide for her clients.

Her passion for her work helped her become successful from the start; in her first year Rong achieved MassMutual's Freshman Five award, the highest recognition award possible for new financial professionals. Rong's industry achievements include earning membership in the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table and qualifying for their Top of the Table status. She is among the top producing 100 of MassMutual's nearly 5,000 financial professionals; qualifying for the company's Blue Chip Council and Top of the Council recognition awards consistently over her career. Due to outstanding performance, Rong qualify for Exceptional Level of in-Force (ELIF) with MassMutual in 2016. Recipients of this honor have a long history of success and are the best of the best.  

Outside of work,  She is also very actively involved with the Chinese Cancer Care Foundation. As her career grows, Rong Shen will continue to lead by example -taking care of her own family and dedicating her knowledge, skills, talents, education and resources to help her clients take care of their needs.
