Russell is a second generation financial advisor and has been practicing in the South Georgia area since graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1985. As a founding partner at Jacobs, Coolidge & Company, Russell specializes in fee-based financial and estate planning, working with many high-net-worth individuals and business owners on the design and implementation of income protection strategies rooted in legacy development. He holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) designations.

Russell is active in many professional and community organizations, including the Savannah and Jacksonville Estate Planning Councils, The Financial Planning Association of Georgia, and the Davis Love Foundation. He also serves as a board member for the Savannah Community Foundation, the Jekyll Island Foundation, and Epworth by the Sea.
