Shane Minks is a Financial Advisor with Strategic Financial Group. Having experienced firsthand the lifechanging effect a financial plan can have on a family, Shane is dedicated to helping families build a plan for the next generation.

As a former educator and coach of 10-years, Shane has developed a service first mindset when working with clients in multiple walks of life from young families who are building the foundation to tenured professionals who are stepping into retirement. Shane’s expertise lies in helping families navigate the college funding process by developing strategies designed to help them plan for college expenses while balancing other financial priorities.

Shane has strong ties to his local community and is an active member in his local church. Shane is also a member of NAIFA Houston, where he serves as the chapter’s President. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University and received a master’s degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce.
