Shey earned his Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Texas A&M - Commerce. He started his career in the financial Services industry in 2011 when he joined Modem Woodmen Fraternal Financial before joining MassMutual Dallas -  Fort Worth. When he is not busy with work, he is spending time with his wife and four kids in their home community of Rockwall, Texas. Shey volunteers as the vice-chairman of the Board of Directors and 2018 annual campaign chairman for the J.E.R. Chilton YMCA in Rockwall. Shey also volunteers on the finance committee at his church.
