William (Bill) O. Ahonen is a founding partner of Advise Financial Solutions in Green, OH. Bill began his financial services career with MetLife in 1989 serving as a financial advisor in the Columbus area. In 2004, Bill transitioned to a management role with MetLife; eventually managing a four-state region for the company. During his management career with MetLife, Bill received many awards, highlighted by the 2011 Manager of the Year award. In 2013, Bill returned to his roots as a financial advisor.

Bill graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Economics. He has continually focused on professional development achieving his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 1997. He later added designations as a Certified Fund Specialist (CFS™), a Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL®) and Retirement Income Certified Professional RICP®.

Bill focuses his practice on asset preservation and income generation strategies during retirement. He enjoys helping clients identify goals and alleviating their concerns through the creation of a personalized strategy.
