In addition to having a son with special needs, Yechiel serves as treasurer of the Jewish Los Angeles Pooled Special Needs Trust and as an ambassador to the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. Yechiel holds a PhD in Jewish studies and turned to financial services in 2009. After immersing himself in the intricacies of government benefits and special needs trusts, he earned his credential as a Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC®) in 2017 and became a Certified Financial Planner™ professional in 2018, after completing the requirements of the CFP® credential.
